Compared with hammer crusher, there are obvious technical advantages of impact crusher as following:

1.It is capable for big material with moisture , and jam phenomenon can be well prevented.

When dealing with high moisture materials,the feed chute and impact plate of impact crusher can be equipped with heating device to avoid bonding.Jam can be prevented without a bottom sieve .But a hammer crusher can’t prevent material jam by a heating way,and a bottom sieve is needed,which increases the possibility rate of jaming.

2.Impact crusher is not only applied to soft materials but also applied to the large hardness of materials.

The impact plate of impact crusher is fixed on the fixed rotor by the structure of mechanical clamping.There is having a big great moment of inertia with the turning of the rotor. Relative to the hammer crusher(hammer is hanging state),the rotor of impact crusher has greater momentum,is applied to break more hard materials,and a low power consumption.

3.Can adjust the discharged size flexible,having a wide range of adjustment.

Impact crusher can adjust the discharged size through a variety of means,such as adjusting the speed of the rotor,adjusting the impact plate and the gap of the grinding cavity. Clearance adjustment can adjust by mechanical or hydraulic press, hydraulic control system can easily complete clearance adjustment through the on-site operation button or remote control system.But the hammer crusher adjust only by changing bottom sieve.

4.Smller wear of the wear parts than the hammer crusher, high utilization rate of metal
The blow bar worn appears the material side.When normal speed,the materials will down to the surface of blow bar(hit zone),the back and profile is ok，even if the material side .And the bottom grinding stick is replaced frequently.The metal utilization rate of blow bar reaches 45%—48%.While the hammers of a hammer crusher is hanging suspended,worn often shows at top, front, back and profile.The hammer wears more seriously,the metal utilization rate of hammers only reaches 25%,and the rotor itself is easy worn.The bottom sieve of hammer crusher is damaged seriously by wearing, and all the grilles need to be replaced,what's more,to replacing a sieve is quite complex.

5. Easy replacement of spare parts and lower costs in maintenance

The rotor of impact crusher only install 6 blow bar,can change conveniently,change a set of blow bar only need one flight time.The replacement of the grinding stick of the bottom cavity also only dozens of minutes,and greatly reduce the time and costs of the repair and maintenance.But the hammers of hammer crusher,more than 100,changing a set of hammer spends a lot of time and manpower,the costs of repair and maintenance is higher.The replacement of the bottom sieve is more complex.
